Battle Fuel XT

Battle Fuel XT

“In the gym, in the ring or on the field, life is war,” says MusclePharm.com about their testosterone-boosting product, Battle Field XT.

And apparently, “weak ends here” when you “maximize natural testosterone output.”

But is Battle Field XT really as great as it seems to be? Let’s take a look.

Battle Field XT Customer Reviews

Battle Field XT is rated an average of 9.6/10 stars on BodyBuilding.com. Here’s what some users had to say:
• “This stuff is great, a lot better than the old Battle Fuel. Just finishing the first bottle, feel stronger and muscles feel harder. Highly recommend.” (dodgeitri)
• “Bigger gains than I have ever seen . . . Bench went up 20 pounds in a month and squats up 25 . . . plus you just feel better while you are at the gym.” (johnnyp135)

However, at least one user on Amazon.com did not like it:
• “I really like Muscle Pharm products but this one drops the ball for me.” (Matthew B)

Battle Fuel XT Ingredients

Let’s see if the ingredients in Battle Fuel XT have the capability to raise testosterone and improve athletic performance.

Vitamin D 600 IU (150%) Battle Fuel XT’s vitamin D dose is the full RDA, so you’ll get your daily allowance just be taking this supplement. This is good since vitamin D promotes calcium absorption, bone strength, and cell growth.

Magnesium (225 mg) Magnesium is an important part of energy metabolism and protein synthesis. It maintains muscle function and is involved in many reactions in the body.

Zinc (4 mg). Although it probably doesn’t raise testosterone, zinc has the potential to improve male fertility and even to improve athletic performance. It’s also an important part of protein synthesis and muscle building.

Advanced 4 Stage Testosterone System (6,226 mg)

Stage 1: Testosterone Amplifier

D-Aspartic Acid (3000mg). This amino acid is important in the metabolism of other amino acids necessary for muscle building. It also increases testosterone, and is on the forefront for ingredients clinically proven to do so.

Mucuna Pruriens (50% L-dopa). Mucuna pruriens raises dopamine levels. When dopamine levels are low, a hormone that stimulates sexual organs is inhibited, so restoring dopamine levels increases sex drive. It also increases a feeling of wellbeing and satisfaction.

Astaracantha Longifolia Aquatic Extract. This medicinal herb may increase sperm count and has increased sexual behavior in rats. [1]

Stage 2: Testosterone Activator

N-Acetyl Carnitine. Another amino acid, n-acetyl carnitine improves protein building in muscle. It increases energy and may even boost fertility.

Anacyclus Pyrethrum. A perennial herb, anacyclus pyrethrum increased testosterone in mice. [2] It may also increase sperm count and promote sexual desire.

Curculigo Orchioides. Hyperglycemia, or high blood sugar, negatively affects sexual and erectile function. This flowering plant treats sexual dysfunction due to hyperglycemia.

Stage 3: Testosterone Muscle Growth Complex

Suma Extract. Helping the body adapt to stress is an important propertyof this plant. It also functions as an aphrodisiac and treats male sexual performance.

Maca. Though it does not raise testosterone, maca improves sexual desire, sperm production and motility, and semen quality.

Propionyl Carnitine. Similar to curculigo, propionyl carnitine treats sexual problems due to diabetes and hyperglycermia. It may raise testosterone. Be aware, though, that it may cause side effects such as nausea and chest pain, and it also reacts with medications for blood clotting.

Stage 4: Anti-Aromatase and Estrogen Suppression Matrix

Indole-3-Carbinol. Found in vegetables such as cabbage, broccoli, and Brussels sprouts, indole-3-carbinol lessens estrogen, which leads to an increase in testosterone.

DIM (Diindolylmethane). DIM is a compound derived from indole-3-carbinol that also blocks estrogen’s effects.

Although some ingredients may be more powerful than others, this seems like a solid ingredient profile with the potential to raise testosterone levels and build muscle as well.

Is Muscle Pharm a Reliable Company?

Muscle Pharm is a company by the athletes, for the athletes. It was founded by former athletes, including a former NFL player, who wanted to give athletes the best and safest supplements.

The company received BodyBuilding.com’s Brand of the Year award in 2012. Unsurprisingly, many of their products are highly rated by athletes and bodybuilders.

Taking Battle Fuel XT

Take 4 capsules in the morning and 4 capsules mid-afternoon or before exercise. For best results, use for 8 weeks, followed by a 5 to 7 day off period.

Battle Fuel XT Prices

You can purchase Battle Fuel XT at the following locations:
• MusclePharm.com: $38.99
• BodyBuilding.com: $34.47
• Amazon.com: $29.95

A 160-capsule container will last you just 20 days, so if you want to take Battle Fuel XT for the recommended eight weeks, you’ll need almost three bottles.

Battle Fuel XT: Weak Ends Here?

Will you suddenly win every war in life and emerge as a battle star with Battle Fuel XT? Probably not, but there’s a good chance you’ll raise testosterone. You may also improve sexual and athletic performance, and even overall health.

Battle Fuel XT is a pretty solid product, though expensive. If the cost isn’t worth it to you, choose a more affordable (yet still effective) testosterone boosting supplement.
